What We Aim to Achieve

This project addresses specific barriers experienced by persons with visual impairment and works towards practical, sustainable improvements.

  • Increase Participation

Create opportunities for learners with visual impairment to participate actively in sports and recreational activities.

  • Improve Access to Adapted Sports

Provide appropriate equipment that makes sporting activities more accessible to persons with visual impairment.

  • Promote Social Inclusion

Use sport as an opportunity for participation, interaction and inclusion.

  • Encourage Confidence

Create an environment where children with visual impairment can develop confidence through active participation and teamwork.

Our Approach

Provide Accessible Sports Equipment

Make adapted sports equipment available to participating schools and learners.

Create Opportunities to Participate

Support sporting and recreational activities where learners with visual impairment can participate actively.

Promote Inclusive Sport

Increase awareness that persons with visual impairment have the same right to participate in and enjoy sports.

More Than a Game

Sport provides opportunities for children to participate, build confidence, interact with others and enjoy being part of a team.

Through Let Us Play Together, TLB promotes an environment where visual impairment does not prevent a child from experiencing the benefits and enjoyment of sport.
